Your choice of modern front-end on Shopware's proven backend.
Built on the official Shopware Store API for a stable foundation.
One backend serving web, app and other channels via the API.
Server rendering and correct meta so headless shops still rank.
Offline support, installability and push where it adds value.
// Why it matters
Headless commerce separates the storefront from the backend, giving you a lightning-fast, app-like experience without giving up Shopware's commerce engine. Codewerk Solutions builds headless and single-page shops with React, Vue or Next.js on the Shopware Store API — engineered for speed, SEO and a buying experience that feels genuinely modern.
It's the right choice when performance and user experience are competitive advantages — and when you want the freedom to build exactly the front-end your brand deserves.
// In detail
What we actually do under the hood — so you can judge the work, not just the promise.
A headless storefront talks to Shopware over the Store API: context token for session and cart, criteria objects for search and filtering, and server-side rendering so the shop stays crawlable. We build in React or Vue and keep the cart calculation on the server, always.
Headless is not automatically faster. It becomes faster when you cache aggressively at the edge for anonymous visitors and never cache a personalised response. We set that boundary explicitly, because getting it wrong leaks one customer's prices to another.
Composable does not mean crawlable. Server-side rendering, canonical URLs, structured data, a working sitemap and the complete redirect map from your old shop are all still your job — and a beautiful client-rendered storefront with no rankings is an expensive brochure.
// FAQ
Only if you need more than one channel from the same catalogue, your UX is genuinely unlike a normal shop, and you have a frontend team who will still be there in three years. For most B2B shops, a well-built Twig theme with Vue islands gives 90% of the benefit for 40% of the cost.
Typically 1.5–2× the frontend effort, because you now own routing, SEO, caching, image handling, checkout state and translations that Twig gave you for free. We say that upfront rather than discovering it in month three.
Yes. The Store API is there whether you use it or not. Building a clean Twig storefront now does not close the door — it just means you pay for the second frontend when it actually earns you something.
