Speed-optimised

Lightweight markup and assets so the design loads fast and ranks well.

// Why it matters

Design that sells, not just decorates

A beautiful shop that's slow or confusing still loses sales. Codewerk Solutions designs and builds custom Shopware themes that are on-brand, responsive and engineered for conversion — with clear product presentation, guided checkout flows and fast-loading, SEO-friendly markup. We build on the Shopware theme and Shopping Experiences system, so your design stays maintainable and update-safe.

Whether you need a fresh storefront, a redesign during migration, or custom CMS elements for campaigns, we deliver a design that strengthens your brand and measurably supports sales.

// In detail

Technology, performance and SEO

What we actually do under the hood — so you can judge the work, not just the promise.

Technology & architecture

Shopware 6 themes are Twig template inheritance plus SCSS on Bootstrap 5. We extend blocks rather than copying templates, so a Shopware update does not silently overwrite your storefront. Vue islands are added only where interactivity genuinely earns them — configurator, cart, quick order.

Performance

Design decisions are performance decisions. Images in modern formats at the right size with explicit width and height, fonts preloaded with no layout shift, critical CSS inlined, and every script deferred that is not needed for the first interaction. A beautiful theme that scores 40 on mobile is a failed theme.

SEO & discoverability

Semantic headings, crawlable navigation, real links instead of JavaScript handlers, breadcrumbs with structured data and no content hidden behind interactions Google cannot perform. Cumulative Layout Shift is designed out, not fixed afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. We can port your current look faithfully, or use the migration as the moment to modernise it. Most clients take a middle path: same brand, better structure, considerably faster.

Yes, and we are happy to work with your designer or agency. If you do not have a design, our designer produces wireframes and a visual concept that you approve before any front-end code is written.

Because we extend Twig blocks instead of copying templates, yes — with a compatibility check at each minor release, which a maintenance plan covers.
